Superb Chinese breakfast spot !! Really authentic food and good service . They don’t take cards, only cash or WeChat/Alipay.
What a fantastic find for genuine Chinese breakfast! This place is the real deal - they serve all the classics you'd find at a morning market in China. They don’t even have a sign or name, literally nothing, only the insiders know this place. The spread is impressive: fluffy baos, freshly made soy milk, crispy You Tiao (Chinese crullers), and delicious wontons and many more. Everything tastes exactly like what you'd get in China, no compromises on authenticity here. The best part? It's incredibly affordable - you can feast like royalty for around 200 pesos and leave completely satisfied. I love how they offer such a wide variety of traditional breakfast items. Whether you're craving something sweet, savory, or both, they've got you covered. If you're curious about real Chinese breakfast culture or missing authentic flavors from home, this is your spot. Such a gem for morning food lovers!
It's our first time in Mexico city, (but we've been to other parts of Mexico before). We very much enjoyed eating at this place. It is authentic Chinese cuisine. It's very delicious! & Flavorful! Reminded me of the authentic Chinese places in LA, ...but the prices is so much more affordable and so worth it! We ordered the pork dumplings and beef noodles and meat buns and a rice dish And they were all so good and flavorful, and I couldn't stop eating, even though I was so full already. The chili oil was so fresh and flavorful. We had some trouble with the menu; but if you ask for help, they will definitely assist you. The lady was very helpful and kind and hospitable towards us, And so are the other workers. Right away, I noticed Chinese-speaking people working and eating at the place, which is a very Good sign for me about the food they serve. I also verified their hours, and they are open between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Authentic Chinese taste. The interior design is very simple but that’s exactly how it looks a small family-run restaurant in China. No wonder always full of customers. In comparison with other Chinese foods targeting Chinese in CDMX, the price is accesible. Recommended. PS if you want to try some traditional snacks like tofu, churro or soya milk, you have to go earlier as the Chinese take breakfast early and these foods sell out quickly
Excellent authentic Chinese breakfast in Mexico City. It’s hard to find really good Chinese breakfast food in the US so we took advantage of being on vacation to try this out. Would highly recommend. Please be aware they don’t take cards, so be prepared for that.
2025 #9 (CDMX #9, Chinese #1): it is a good time for people who like Chinese food in CDMX. Friends had told me about this spot, so I decided to join a last-minute Tuesday brunch (and I'm so glad I did!). If you order one thing: B29 chǎo nián gāo or A9 xiǎo hún tun We ordered: A2 dumplings, B29 炒年糕(chǎo nián gāo)$130, A1 xlb $80, A9 小馄饨(xiǎo hún tun)$70, A5 咸豆腐脑(xián dòu fu nǎo)$50 x2 (think they have multiple sweet and savory options for this). I think everything we ordered (besides the youtiao 油条/churro chino (lol)) was great. My favorite has to be the 炒年糕, chǎo nián gāo. I typically don't like rice cake, but these noodles made from rice cake had so much flavor! The 小馄饨, xiǎo hún tun was also so good and filling. Prices are very fair here, and the variety of yummy dishes means I will be back very, very soon. Service is average and can be a little complicated, but the food totally makes up for it. Mind the semi-odd hours (it's a breakfast spot), and remember it's cash or transfer only (no credit cards!) To order next time: A15 & A16 (didn't have any of the "chinese tamales" but friends typically order both). Previous review #8: La Plantisqueria, Vegan/Seafood Next review #10: Felina, Cocktail Bar
We tried noodles, wontons (huntun),ChaoFenGan, and Bao. The food is authentic and delicious! I highly recommend ChaoFenGan (炒粉干) and XiaoLongBao (小笼包)! The Chinese food on the main road of Chinatown looks terrible, the colorful steamed buns are nightmare for a real Chinese. Anyway, I didn’t expect there are some authentic Chinese food nearby these areas. Don’t miss this place. And the price is really fair!
